Several files were added today. Go over to region marching band and observe the following additions pertaining to that contest for the 2024 year:

• Host Contest Letter
• Contest Map
• Pre-Contest Staging Instructions Map

UIL Region 33 website finally had a DNS transfer and it is now live for all to view. A few updates that were made just recently:

• The MARCHING tab has been overhauled to include information not just for region marching but also for Area F, State Open Class, and State Military Class.
• The REGION MARCHING tab has been updated to include the most recent schedule as well as all of the required forms. The date and deadline has been posted on the page.
• The navigation menu has been overhauled to make only sub-menus clickable. The Only main menu item that is clickable is ONLINE ENTRY.
• The Concert and Sightreading tabs are developed. Information on the contests will be provided soon, but the zones blueprint is being added currently.
• TMEA tabs operate off of the Google Drives associated with them. I'll provide a little information that can be found in each page as time goes on.

UIL REGION 33 MUSIC IS LIVE!

Hey all, it's Brian over at Atascocita High School. It is my pleasure to be able to serve our region by helping build and maintain our official website. This is something that I love to do, and it's my hope that our website can serve a multiple purpose. Not just to inform, but to educate and inspire. I have been tasked with providing and publishing all of the region 33 content sent to me that is pertinent to our region and our contests and competitions. I also hope that I can provide some accolades, achievements, acknowledgements, and awesome updates on our region here through this blog and on our main page. Our region is STACKED with amazing bands, choirs, orchestras, and even mariachi groups! I would love to celebrate them by acknowledging their achievements on our page!

So, here it is! Our new Region 33 Music website! I hope that you guys find it useful and easy to navigate. I will always take suggestions on how I can improve it and make it better for the future.

Here are the updates to the UIL Region 33 Website:

• Fully re-designed UI from the ground up
• Navigation menu re-design with various tab subcategories
• Photo banners for each page for visual recognition of content
• Blog updates (what you're reading here)
• Solo and Ensemble pages that will separate MS and HS choir, strings, and band.
• TMEA pages that will subcategorize HS and MS.
• A page dedicated to high school marching band, where schedules, forms, and more will be provided.
• A direct link to the online entry system in the main navigation menu straight to Texas Music Forms
• A UIL tab that will provide more information on policy and any PML updates.
• A tab for Concert and Sightreading that will subcategorize HS and MS band, choir, and strings.

This is to get us started. A lot of information is still pending, but this is the place where it will be located once it is received. I'm happy to do this, and I hope that you all enjoy the website that I worked on. Please let me know what improvements are needed, and I'll gladly get right on it!
